Description: The challenge for an analyst working with Big Data is to gain actionable insights into the significant factors and relationships that impact on business outcomes. This requires more than visualisation, but also telling the story behind the data. Narrative visualisation is an approach that allows an analyst to understand these complex factors and relationships in an intuitive and engaging way. It can be used to discover knowledge within the data, or to explain how insights were obtained and their impact. This session invites presentations and demonstrations of interesting techniques across diverse domains that could contribute to this approach.
